WAIVING OF INFORMAL TRADING PERMIT FEES FOR INFORMAL TRADERS IN THE CBD INFORMAL TRADING STALLS
The Municipality is pleased to announce that Council has resolved to waive the informal trading permit fees for informal traders in the Meyerton CBD. This decision aims to promote economic opportunities and support local entrepreneurship.
We invite all interested individuals and traders to apply for informal trading stall permits without the burden of associated fees. This waiver applies to new applications as well as renewals of the current traders and shall be valid for a period of 6 months.
The Municipality recognizes the importance of informal trading in promoting the local economy and providing livelihood opportunities. By removing financial barriers, we seek to encourage participation in our informal trading sector.
Interested parties are encouraged to visit the Municipality, Development and Planning offices to obtain application forms and further information regarding the waiver process.

Areas applicable within this precinct include Pendale AH, Valley Settlements AH No1, No2, No3, No4 and portions of the farm Langkuil 363IR.
