INVITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE DRAFT MIDVAAL ACQUISITION AND DISPOSAL OF LAND AND OTHER LAND RIGHTS POLICY
The Midvaal Local Municipality has drafted the Midvaal Acquisition and Disposal of Land and Other Land Rights Policy, which aims to regulate the acquisition and disposal of municipal land and immovable assets.
The policy promotes:
- Uniform procedures for land transactions,
- Investment and sustainable development,
- Integrated human settlements,
- Support for community-based non-profit organisations, and
- Equitable access to land and spatial transformation.
The public is hereby invited to review the draft policy and submit comments or suggestions for consideration.
The draft policy is available on the Midvaal Local Municipality website and can also be viewed at municipal offices during business hours.
