PUBLIC NOTICE: Submit representations in connection with the Annual Report and Oversight Report
The Midvaal Local Municipality at its meeting held on 31 January 2023 approved the Final Annual Report 2021/2022 inclusive of the Oversight Report. In terms of Section 21A of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, read with Section 127(5)(a)(ii) and Section 129(3) of Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003, the said documents are made public, and the local community is invited to submit representations in connection with the Annual Report and Oversight Report.
The said documents will be available for inspection at Room 201, Midvaal Municipal Offices, Civic Centre, 25 Mitchell Street, Meyerton, as well as the satellite offices at De Deur, Randvaal, Vaal Marina and all libraries and clinics. The document is also available on the municipality’s website (www.midvaal.gov.za).
Any representation must be forwarded in writing to the Municipal Manager on or before Friday, 3 March 2023 at 16:00.
Any person who cannot write will be assisted at the said office during office hours (07:30 – 13:00 and 13:30 – 16:00) by having his/her comments or representation reduced in writing. Further information is also available at the said office.
