PUBLIC NOTICE: BOREHOLE WATER USERS FROM THE OFFICE OF THE MMC: ENGINEERING SERVICES CLLT R.J. HUBBARD

 Notice is hereby given to all Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) residents that after receiving several enquires relating to high water billing, that residents who makes use of boreholes in their property must ensure that they install non-return valves on water pipelines that are directly linked to their municipal water meter. The non-return valve is to prevent the municipal water pushing back into the borehole system and therefore leading to high water billing. The property owners must note that the municipality will not take responsibility for negligence from the property owners’ side that results in municipal water flowing into their borehole system.
