NOTICE TO BIDDERS – UPDATING OF DETAILS ON CENTRAL SUPPLIER DATABASE (CSD)
GENERAL NOTICE: UPDATING OF DETAILS ON THE CENTRAL SUPPLIER DATABASE (CSD)
Dear valued suppliers,
The Midvaal Local Municipality is committed to improving its supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and transparency. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our procurement processes, we are excited to announce a significant change in how we request and obtain quotations from our valued vendors.
Effective November 1st, 2023, the Midvaal Local Municipality will transition to using the Central Supplier Database (CSD) as the primary platform for soliciting quotations. This transition is a pivotal step towards streamlining our supply chain operations and ensuring that our procurement process aligns with industry best practices. Therefore, it is crucial for all vendors currently doing business or who wish to do business with the Municipality to ensure that their information on the CSD is accurate and up-to-date. Failure to do so may result in missed business opportunities with the municipality.
To update your details on the CSD, please follow these steps:
1. Visit the CSD website at www.csd.gov.za
2. Log in with your existing CSD credentials or register if you are not yet on the CSD.
3. Update all relevant supplier information, including contact details, banking information,
and product/service offerings.
4. Verify and submit your updated profile.
